Jump Desktop (RDP, VNC, Fluid) App Reviews

Love this app. I used Remote Desktop Manager for Windows and have been looking for a good replacment for that on Mac that supported gateways, multiple protocols and organization by tags. This makes my job so much more pleasant as a server administrator. With the ability to sync with icloud, I get the same servers and configurations when I go home and login with my MacBook Pro. And now that it has the ability to open new connections in new tabs, it is far more powerful than I hoped for when I first purchased. Great product, worth the investment.

This is one of the bests VNC clients I used. From mac to mac works better than the Remote desktop. No lag, no screen issues. Great investment.

I am using this app with RDP to connect to my company (Windows 7, Windows Server 2003) for 4 month. Its fast and I had no problems yet. Shared folder, copy & paste, … it simply works.

Jump Desktop is my favorite RDP- and VNC-Client and I use the software every day and most time of the day. One feature I still miss in the current version and I would appreciate, to find this feature in a future version: is it possible to add an entry under "VIEW" in the sidebar to show all connected clients on one click? Furthermore I would like to change the order of the tag list by myself. In the best way I can change the order simply by drag-and-drop in the side bar.

Over all, a good all-round app. Some keyboard problems like the do not work on windows, | does not work on a Mac, xrdp has some graphical logon problems, therefore just 4 Stars

Works great with Mac, Windows and Ubuntu!

This program does what it says and does it well. I particularly like that you can configure multiple logins and I like the support. I had trouble with the initial setup and they very helpful in quickly determining what I had configured incorrectly. I would recommend this software.

The interface is nice and the speed is nice. However without file transfer and clipboard sharing team viewer seems to be a better option. Plus they forced me to write a review, remind me later button does not work lol.

Im extremely impressed by how fluid and smooth working over a RDC connection is with this app. I dont know how they do it but its awesome. Connecting to a Windows virtual machine over RDC with this app is just as efficent as running the Virtual Machine locally. This allows me to put all of my VMs out on a seperate sever and connect to them via my Mac using RDC without running them locally and hogging all of the RAM and CPU resources. Five stars!

simple. easy login and automatic setup. 5 out of 5 for sure! AND its not a subscription. pay once and use. Added this desktop and connected automatically to the other computers I had setup in iOS. AWESOME Remote Desktop APP! well worth the 30 bucks

It use to connect to my Windows xp&8, Ubuntu, OSX server from every where, just using my MacBook Air. Didnt understand how i live withouth this app before! :-)

I work as an IT and it is by far the best RDP app for mac that Ive tried, plus it does VNC. Great full screen plenty of options.

Just what I needed, great performance, the only thing is that something I see I couple of glitches but not big deal

We have a Windows server at work and I needed a remote desktop application to connect when not in the office … using Jump I can work from home on the Mac or from anywhere on the iPad or iPhone … so I read the great reviews for Jump and found the courage to pay the $29.99, and was pleasantly suprised when it worked better than the computer at the office! No problems, would definitely recommend you buy it.

If you are a PC user and need to access office PC computer with your great MacBook, iMac, iPhone, iPad, iPod…. Its the best app. Fast, easy to use. You will impress all you friends showing your PC desktop on your iPhone!!

This is by far my favorite Remote Management application. Its great to have VNC and RDP connections in one app. Also, in the past Ive had weird keyboard mapping issues when managing other Operating Systems, Jump Desk doesnt seem to have those issues.

Ive been looking for years for a product that does what this one does, without relying on the companys infrastructure for continued life (Im willing to trust google over smaller companies lifespan). I was initially turned off by the price of the iPhone and Mac apps, but have been glad I went ahead with it. Ive encountered a few issues but support has been both prompt and helpful. I cant ask for anything more.

Its not bad except it cant take a screenshot of the active application in Windows (normally alt+printscreen). I wrote a message on the support board, the support agent asked for more information, then never got back to me. I guess this was their way of saying its not possible, which is too bad. Id love it if ther was a way to send custom key combinations. If it wasnt for this limitation, this would be perfect. But because of it, I have to use another piece of software to do what I want. Also does not work with USB powered monitors. UPDATE: I’ve now switched to the new “Remote Desktop” app by Microsoft which is available by Microsoft, and it supports all key combinations (including ALT-PrintScreen). I now regret buying Jump Desktop because of its limitations. For what it’s worth.

I’ve use the application for more than six months now, and I have not yet encountered any problems. It is well configurable and provides great performan It’s nice to have something that’s both reliable and good.
